The Two Greatest People

The two greatest people I’ve

Had the chance to meet

Just happen to be married

And part of my family

It makes me proud

To call them mine

This weekend we celebrate their

Being married for al long long time

It’s amazing to me that

They’ve been married fifty years

Just as a fine watch has precision gears

That are crafted in excellence

And will last forever into eternity

I have only one thing to say

And I’m sure you’ll agree

That unlike the watch

They will last longer

For the gift God has given

Has made their love stronger

Together forever and

Add a day to that

And you barely get a picture

Of the love that they have

The two greatest people who

Will meet me again in God’s utopia
