The Unspeakable Truth

It is in our hearts,
The unspeakable truth about how we feel for each other.
The wave of emotion I've been riding is
almost too much to take.
But,
Do I dare speak that unspeakable truth that
Dwells so deep inside,
Or hold it still,
 Until the time I can be certain you'll remain.

So many choices and chances to take
But when has too much been sacrificed?
Time is a double-edged sword when it comes to that truth,
that unspeakable truth.
The closeness of two can be severed
Leaving deep scars or a wound never healed.
Can I bear that?
All over a dangerous unspeakable truth?
Am I willing to take that chance?

Can I survive severed from you completely
When to be complete I need you.
These are the questions that burn deep inside,
 Hidden from the outside world but from me I cannot hide.
Each passing day tears us slowly apart
Until we are together and feelings are renewed.
 There is only one thing left for me to do,
From the depths of my soul and with all of my heart,
 that unspeakable truth is....
